by Cray Communications, to be provided and installed, as listed: #1. 1
each DCP9915 - equipment nest for DCP9900 (includes one power supply
(DCP9820) and one common logic set (DCP9930) with one lim card). #2. 1
each DCP9820 - redundant power supply. #3. 1 each DCP9930 - redundant
common logic card. #4. 8 each - DCP9913 channel controller link
interface (lim) card. #5. 2 each - DCP4857-02S T1/FT1 csu with sync
daughter card and 4.01 firmware. #6. 2 each - DCP4857-01S T1/FT1 CSU
with single active DS-1 port and 4.01 firmware. #7. 7 each -
DCP4857-01R T1/FT1 csu rackmont (includes 15 ft cable and 4.01

Request for Quotation will be issued on or about 03 Jun 1996. This
procurement is a 100 per cent Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC code is
3669 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
Supplies/services required are available from only one source and no
other type of supplies/services will satisfy agency technical
requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive
quotes. Interested parties have 15 days from the publication date to
submit their qualifications/capabilities. Information will be used
solely to determine whether to conduct this procurement on a
competitive basis. Responses not directly addressing the ability to
supply and install the above parts may be considered non-responsive. it
is suggested that small business firms or others interested in
subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described
procurement make contact with the firm listed. See Numbered Notes 22 &
26. SPECIAL NOTE: For Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business
Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small
and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist
minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond
amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the
DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
