Defense Supply Service-Washington, in support of the Defense Telecommunications Service-Washington (DTS-W), intends to issue Invitation for Bids (IFB) number DASW01-96-B-0007 for cellular airtime in the National Capital Region (NCR) to include the following features: cellular access, 10 digit number assignments, call forwarding, no answer transfer, three party conferencing, voice mail, call restriction feature, and 8 hour activation of cellular service. The required cellular phones shall be: Nokia C-15 or equal; Motorola TacLite Ultra or equal; Motorola SE III or equal; and an option for a cellular phone with the capability of roaming to Europe when it becomes available. The solicitation package will be available on or about April 24, 1996, with an anticipated bid opening date on or about May 24, 1996.
