The International Cancer Information Center of the NCI intends to release a Request for Proposals for the Cancer Information Analysis and Tracking project (CIAT). The CIAT contract provides support services for maintaining the content of the International Cancer Information Center's (ICIC) information products and services, including the PDQ and Rare Disease Clinical Research databases, CancerFax, CancerNet, and the ICIC home page on the World Wide Web (WWW). Services provided include writing, editing, abstracting, indexing, data entry, quality control, and soliciting and incorporating updated information. Options are provided for addition of work to index abstract information for the CANCERLIT database and to expand the content of the Rare Disease Clinical Research Database, should such services be required in 1998. As additional ICIC information services are implemented, this contract will also be responsible for maintenance of the content of these services.
