Q -- PSYCHIATRIC INPATIENT/OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL SERVICES SOL RFP 784 DUE 043097. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested hospitals located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah to provide medically necessary acute psychiatric hospital room, board, and ancillary services and/or outpatient services as required by eligible Indian beneficiaries referred by the IHS Area Offices of Albuquerque, NM; Navajo, Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. Such care shall include, but not limited to outpatient, inpatient and all supporting services and facilities normally part of such care. Multiple awards will be made to those hospitals who agree to accept as payment in full, reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payment). This is in accordance with the IHS Payment Policy entitled ``Reimbursement Rates for Health Care Services Authorized Under the Indian Health Service Contract Health Regulations'', published in the Federal Register on June 30, 1986.
