A -- JAST PROPULSION COMPETITIVE ENGINE CONTRACT PHASE II POC Contact, Marty Jakim, Phone (703)604-6100 The Joint Advanced Strike Technology (JAST) Program intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract for F110/F120 derivative engineering effort in support of Phase II of the JAST Propulsion Competitive Engine Program to General Electric Aircraft Engines, One Neumann Way, Cincinnati, OH 45215. In this phase, General Electric will continue detailed design and begin hardware testing of the engine selected under the Phase I contract. Only General Electric Aircraft Engines possesses the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and unique experience required to perform the engineering effort for the F110/F120 propulsion systems. - NAVAIR Synopsis No. 20053-96.
