Turkish Ministry of National Defense invites qualified U.S. firms to
compete on the basis of NATO international competitive bidding for the
provision of Link-11 Display Systems. The scope of the project: Air,
surface and sub-surface tracks are being exchanged between maritime
units by means of Link-11 and Link-14 networks and air tracks are
exchanged between shore based air defense units using Link-1. Two NATO
ship-shore-ship-buffer (SSSB) sites are currently being constructed in
Turkey, co-located with Canakkale and Ahlatlibel (Ankara) Nadge sites,
in order to facilitate exchange of air track data between two shore
based air defense systems, ships and airborne sensors. There is an
operational requirement to provide Comendnoreast-Ankara (Maritime
Sub-PSC) with a timely display of the current air, surface, and
sub-surface situation. The below listed items are to be provided in the
scope of this project: Data handling and display (DHDS, hardware only
site specific modifications); Link-11 data terminal sets; HF/SSB
Link-11 receiver (with pre-selector); UHF Link-11 receiver; UHF receive
antenna (with tower) DTS remote control unit (with interfaces); remote
control terminal (for HF/UHF); 2.4 KBPS line modems, EMP surge
arrestor (for UHF antenna); color printer and scanner; barco system
1208; complete initial spares, installation, integration, cables,
racks, and other ancillaries; Link-11 crypto equipment (KG404) shall be
provided by the user and provide documentation and training. Works
shall be completed in 20 months after the contract award. The life
cycle of the system shall be a minimum of 15 years. Interested firms
should have NATO Confidential clearance. All applicants must be
certified to compete in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of Commerce,
