This public notice is to request suppliers to provide NTT DATA with general referential information on similar products or technology prior to procurement of the intended product (mentioned below by NTT DATA. This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a sub-contractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. This public notice is not intended to guarantee public notification of procurement of the product. (1) Name: Register terminal for electronic passbook (2) Overview: This equipment consists of a controller of a reader/writer for MS, optical recorder, and IC parts of a medium of electronic passbook (Optical/IC hybrid card) and an equipment which prints out its contents and makes possible to print detailed statements on-line and refer data by using Optical/IC hybrid card off-line. (3) Contents of RFI: NTT DATA is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. This is not, however, a request for suppliers to provide proprietary and/or confidential information, (i) Technical information (including product catalogues, sample system configurations, etc.), (ii) Prices, (iii) Standard time of delivery after ordering, (iv) Records of sales and installations, (v) Others (Active proposals likely to become useful for increasing the businesses of NTT DATA). (4) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procurement program of NTT DATA, are requested to supply NTT DATA with the information listed below.
