Contracting Officer, A. Yuen, 808/474-1513. The work includes replacing
existing 50,000 and 75,000 gallon fuel oil tanks with steel tanks of
similar capacity, replacing existing piping, providing cathodic
protection system, reconstructing existing berm, and incidental related
work. The solicitation is a performance specification that represents
the Government's minimum requirements. The contractor is responsible
for and shall provide overall coordination and design of construction
details (100% design drawings, shop drawings, etc.) to ensure
satisfactory completion of all work covered under this contract. The
solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require
offerors to submit a technical and price proposal for evaluation by the
Government. The Contractor shall commence work 15 calendar days after
receipt of the notice to proceed and complete the work within 240
calendar days after commencement. Davis-Bacon Act applies to this
solicitation. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Issue
date will be on or about 4 November 1995, proposal receipt date
approximately 30 calendar days after issue. This procurement is
