The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue orders on multiple occassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-95-G-6216 with Scientific-Atlanta, Inc, Signal Processing Systems, San Diego, CA 92128-4199. Orders will be issued for training and training support for AN/BQR-20 series sonar and related data. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Scientific-Atlanta, Inc is the sole manufacturer of the AN/BQR-20A, AN/BQR-22, AN/BQR-22A, AN/BQR-23, and AN/BQR-23A(V). Scientific-Atlanta is the only entity with requisite knowledge and experience to provide the required services and support. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other services or support satisfy the Navy's requirements.
