The U.S. National Park Service, National Capital Area, will provide an advance ticket reservation system for the Washington Monument to facilitate visitor vacation planning and reduce the waiting time to ascent the Monument. The Park Service is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers to provide a comprehensive ticketing system that will accommodate two objectives: (1) the distribution of tickets reserved in advance, at minimal cost to the park visitor; and (2) the distribution of free tickets daily to park visitors who arrive at the Washington Monument on a first come basis. A solicitation package is available upon request beginning August 1, 1995, by calling the Contracting Office at (202) 485-9725, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (EST) weekdays.
