Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies required to install approximately 1,400 linear feet of complete 7' high steel picket fencing, and approximatley 1,400 linear feet of complete chain link fence, at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il. (Hines Il. is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago). Work will include, but is not limited to, the furnishing and installation of one pedestrain gate with card access locking mechanism and automatic closure and four vehicle gates (2 electrically operated sliding gates and 2 manually operated swing gates). All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after August 8, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for August 18, 1995, at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for September 12, 1995, at 1:30pm local time. Estimated cost range is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. SIC=1799, $7ml. Award is subject to a 90 day acceptance period. Award will be pending availability of funds.
