Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and supplies required to remove and replace approximately 680 square yards of asphalt vehicular pavement and combination curb and gutter of building 1, Ambulance entrance of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il. (Hines Il, is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago). Work will include but is not limited to the excavation of additional ground, removing and replacing two sewer inlets and the removal of approximately 310 square feet of sidewalk and the replacement of approximately 190 square feet of sidewalk. All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after August 7, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for August 17, 1995, at 10:30am local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for September 8, 1995 at 1:30pm local time.
