Hawkings 601/377-8577. The work includes replacing the fan coil units
in all the berthing and lounge modules located in Buildings 316, 317
and 318. Of the 432 fan coil units required by the project, 72 shall be
government furnished, 360 shall be Contractor furnished, and all shall
be installed by Contractor. All fan coils shall be of the same
manufacturer, and are specified on the drawings to match units
furnished by the government. For each fan coil unit to be installed,
Contractor shall provide one thermostat, one three-speed switch, and
one three-way valve. The switches and thermostats shall be located as
directed by drawings, and will not be in same location as existing
devices. Contractor shall provide wiring to new locations, and patch
walls where existing devices are removed. Contractor shall also be
responsible for moving furniture, walls, and new carpet an cove base in
37 modules and two quarterdeck areas of buildings 316 and 318. 8800 SYS
of carpet and 16,000 ft of cobe base. Bid Item Two: remove old carpet
and provide arnd install new carpet in 10 moudles and one quarterdeck
area of building 317. 2400 yards of carpet and 4500 ft of cover base.
Bid Item Three: Remove old and install new toilet partitions and urinal
screens in 54 modules of buildings 316, 317 an 318 with high density
polyurethene plastic units. Estimated cost range is $500,000 to
