The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, and supplies to perform repairs and maintenance to approximately 54 miles of depot railroads at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA. The Solicitation will contain Estimated Quantities to be performed within a two (2) year period. The magnitude of the Project is between $5,000,000.00 and 10,000,000.00. Site inspection date will be announced with the solicitation package. This solicitation is being made pursuant to Public Law 100-656, ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988''. Funds are not currently available for this project; therefore, the solicitation will be issued Subject to Availability of Funds. Funds must be available before award can be made. All responsible bidders may submit a bid which will be considered. Only written requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. There is a $50.00 charge for this solicitation package. Certified check, cashier's check or money order must accompany the request and should be made payable to the US Department of Treasury. A request containing a Personal Check (personal accounts or business accounts) cannot be accepted and will be returned for resubmission with an acceptable means of payment as stated previously.
