Contractor will provide and install, in strict accordance with contract specifications, two complete excitation systems for two 15 megawatt hydroelectric generators at the Whitney Power Plant located at Laguna Park, TX. The contract requirements include removal of existing excitation equipment, refurbishment of collector rings, replacement of wiring, factory and field testing, installation submittals and drawings, training and all labor, materials, equipment and transportation. There will be a $40.00 charge for the solicitation package. Check should be made payable to: Finance and Accounting Officer USAED FTW. Solicitation will be issued on or about 01 August 1995 with bid opening on or about 31 August 1995. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
