General services administration wishes to announce that on or about July 27, 1995,the Solicitation FCGE-95-0021-N for COST-per-copy (CPC) copier requirements for the Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury located in the Austin, Texas area will be issued. This P(rocurement will require furnishing of copiers and all accessories, furnishing and delivery ofconsumale supplies (except paper), emergency repair service, periodic preventive maintenance and key operators training. Copier requirements have been broken down into five volume bands defined as follows: Volume band I, 15 copies per minute minimum and 1-5,000 copies per month; volume band II, 20 copies per minute minimum and 5,001-15,000 copies per month; volume band III, 30 copies per minute minimum and 15,001-30,000 copies per month; volume band IV, 45 copies per minute minimum and 30,001-50,000 copies per month; volume band V,55 copies per minute minimum and 50,001-80,000 copies per month. The IRS has Given an initial machine estimate of 64 machines to be installed in October 1995, and 149 machines to be installed in October 1996. This will be a five year contract. Offered copiers are to be the manufacturer'S current productionmodels, either new or newly remanufactured. This procurement will benegotiated. One award will be made. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period for this procurement will be for one year beginning 01 October 1995, through 30 September 1996, with the option to extend for four one year options.
