D -- RENEWAL HARDWARE/SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE (PREVENTIVE AND REMEDIAL) SOL ATD-124-KHP-95/726 POC Contact KAYE PETTUS,( 205)544-5828 Computer Sciences Corporation intends to negotiate with Bay Networks, on a sole source basis for full Hardware/Software maintenance for the Lan Routers installed on the Bay Network equipment located at the Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. Period of Performance (POP) shall be for twelve (12) months. This Maintenance shall consist of:On site support,telephone diagnostics, Preventive and Remedial,fixing problems,product productivity improvements,language compilers,communication and office automation.Interested persons have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/ capabilities (i.e., technical specifications, brochures, and price lists) in the critical areas mentioned above. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a full an open competition basis. Responses received without the required information may be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this synopsis. A determination by CSC not to compete this procurement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this synopsis, is solely within the discretion of CSC.
