Porcupine East overlay project consists of a 4'' asphalt overlay on approximately four (4) miles of road which will require dig-outs of bad areas and patching and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Route 2 chip seal project consists of placing an asphalt grade RC-800R and a modified grading ``C'' aggregate which may require asphalt patching prior to the surface treatment on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Shannon County, South Dakota. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Bidding material will be available after May 19, 1995 at a cost of $25.00 per set, non-refundable. Only a cashier's check or a money order is acceptable. This is a total Buy-Indian Set Aside for economic enterprises that are 51% Indian owned and controlled firms. ``Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 460E) and 41 CFR 14-1/354 require that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska native economic enterprises.
