On or about May 4, 1995 the Windsor Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT, 06006-0300 will issue Solicitation No. 082530-95-A-0061 for a roof replacement project (and related work) at the Main Post Office, 4 East Central Street, Worcester, MA. Work includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of the existing roof as outlined in the specifications and drawings. Sealed offers are due Tuesday, June 6, 1995 no later than 4:00 p.m. Work shall be started within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed and completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. The estimated cost of the work is between $450,000.00 and $600,000.00. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT. There will be a pre-proposal meeting on site on Tuesday, May 23, 1995 at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. A Proposal Guarantee is not required. Performance and Payment bonds on Postal Service forms will be required from the successful offeror.
