The work to be performed includes the following principal features: Salvage refrigerant from existing air conditioning systems to be removed. Remove existing air cooled condensing units, refrigerant lines, hot water boiler, expansion tanks, hot water pumps, hot water piping, air handling units, equipment pads, HVAC controls, and mechanical room gyp board surfaces at the buildings indicated. Remove ductwork, plenums, and air distribution items not to be reused. Construct concrete equipment pads for new furnaces and new air cooled condensing units. Clean, paint and reinstall refrigerant line supports. Install air cooled condensing units filter boxes, gas lines, condensate drain lines, exhaust fans, door grilles, electrical wiring and conduit, electrical disconnects, switches, boxes and enclosures and HVAC controL systems. Remove and replace two boilers in Building 2812 with asociated piping and equipment. Test and adjust systems for specified performance. Repair patch, clean and paint items damaged during construction and as specified, to match existing adjacent surfaces. The foregoing outline of principal features does not in any limit the reponsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all materials required by he specifications and to perform other work items which may be required or associated with this type of work. The estimated issue date for this project is 10 May 95. A non-refundable fee of $25.00 will be charged for each bid package which will include half size drawings. Full size drawings will be available for an additional $25.00. Such fees shall be in the form of a check or a postal money order payable to the U.S. Treasury and mailed to the Directorate of Contracting, Attn: Contract Support Division, PO Box 33189, Fort Sill, OK 73503-0189.
