PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The proposed work is for the construction of electrical service for the installation of an Instrument Landing System (ILS) on San Nicolas Island. This includes concrete footing for antennas; duct work for signal and control wires; pads and electrical hook-ups for equipment shelters; high voltage duct banks and hand holes from existing service to new transformers; and incidental related work. The Standard Industrial Code for this projet is 1771; the small business size standard is $7.0M. The estimated cost range of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Anticipated performance time is 90 calendar days. Plans and specifications are anticipated to be available on or about 5 June 1995, until supply is exhausted. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns only.
