The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to contract with Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC), Systems Division, Wilmington, MA for inertial instrument testing and evaluation, investigation programs, and support of tactical and training software development for the TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5) Navigation Subsystems. DRC is the only known source having a state-of-the-art, well-stabilized and validated test facility capable of testing and evaluating navigation subsystem inertial instrumentation and the requisite expertise in the Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) inertial and non-inertial navigation equipment.
