Equipment must operate within confines of travelway and slopes of the trench; large reaches are essential. Stream diversion, strict compaction, riprap, and gabion placement are also required. Road closure allowed for pipe installation is 96 hours. The project is located on the Seeley Lake Ranger District, Lolo National Forest, Powell County, MT. Bids are due on June 21, 1995. The estimated start work date is July 15, 1995. Contract time will be 45 calendar days. The estimated price range is between S25,000 and S100,000.
