Hotel suites will be required for a period of eleven (11) weeks in duration. Suites will be required approximately four (4) to six (6) times per year. Accomodations shall include suites with separate sleeping areas, which will not adjoin the living area. Suites shall include a separate living/study area with seating accommodations for for at least four individuals. The suites shall at a minimum be equipped with kitchens, which include cooking facilities and a refrigerator. Location requirement: Hotels shall be located in the District of Columbia. The hotels shall be located within a ten (10) minute walk of the U.S. Secret Service Training Course to be held at 1310 L Street, NW, Washington, DC. Hotels located outside the ten (10) minute walking parameter, shall transport the students via bus and shall be within a 10-minute time frame. Additional transportation requirement: Hotels shall be required to provide transportation for approximately twenty-five (25) days of the eleven week training course round trip from the hotel to the U.S. Secret Service's James J. Rowley Training Center, 9200 Powder Mill Road, Laurel, Maryland. Services are expected to include a base period of twelve (12) months, with two (2) option periods of one (1) year each.
