D -- MAINTENANCE/SUPPORT OF THE CONVEX C240 SUPER COMPUTER LOCATED AT MSFC SOL ATD-124-JKM-95/0530 POC Contact J. K. MacLean CSC intends to enter into a sole source subcontract with Convex Computer Corporation for maintenance support, including hardware and software, of the Convex C240 Super Computer at the Marshall Space Flight Center. The computer must remain continuously in full operating condition (98+%) in support of NASA Programs. The Subcontract/Agreement will consist of a continuation of the services presently in place through June 17, 1996. Interested persons have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/ capabilities (i. e. technical specifications, brochures, and price lists) in the critical areas mentioned above. Such qualifications / capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether of not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis. Responses received without the required information may be considered not acceptable in response to this synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this synopsis.
