Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, blocking, staging and tools necessary to accomplish haul out and repairs of the C.A. Thayer. The Thayer is a caravel planked, iron fastened three masted historic schooner located at Hyde Street Pier, San Francisco. The overall length-219 feet, waterline length-156 feet, maximum beam-36 feet 8 inches, gross weight-452 tons, construction-douglas fir. All work is subject to historical compliance within Federal and State codes, including, but not limited to 16 USC 470 and 36 CFR Part 800. Work will consist of preparation and coating of the ship's hull; coating, surveying and repairs below the ship's waterline; clean, scale, sand and paint bottom from keel to waterline; prepare and paint from waterline to boot-topping line and exterior hull from waterline to main deck, exterior and interior bulwark surfaces, including caprail; remove and replace damaged planks at starboard quarter and bottom; repair worm damage to the hull planking and plywood sheathing; reef out and recaulk designated seams on the hull below and above the waterline and on decks; provide tugs to transport to and from contractors facility.
