This solicitation invites proposal for an indefinite quantity construction contract for asbestos abatement for postal facilities within the State of Tennessee. Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the removal and disposal of friable asbestos containing material for owned and/or leased postal facilities. Offerors must be experienced in asbestos abatement procedures and be fully licensed and certified by the state where the work will be performed. Proposal amount will be in the form of a multiplier to be applied against a unit price schedule for future work orders. A $20,000 proposal guarantee is required with each proposal. There may be more than one contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. The minimum amount of during the contract period is $10,000. The initial contract amount of $500,000 applies to each of the contracts that may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The contract may be modified by agreement of both parties up to an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 with appropriate increase in bonding.
