Winland, Contracting Officer, 601/377-3642 This project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and all work necessary to renovate selected dorm latrines. This renovation consists of removing and replacing the following items: doors, door frames, windows, wall and floor tile, light fixtures, shower pans, toilet partitions, toilets, sinks, and urinals. The renovation includes removing radiator units and associated asbestos insulated piping, providing a heating coil unit, removing lead-based painted plaster ceiling and providing gypsum board ceiling. All work will be performed in selected dormitory latrines located in the triangle area of Keesler AFB. The contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The basic contract period will be 12 months with two 12 month option periods to be exercised at the Government's option. The minimum contract amount will be 8 units and the maximum contract amount will be 36 units for the life of the contract. This action is being considered for 100% set aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 20 Feb 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capability to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as from small disadvantaged business concerns.
