Bids are requested for the Airport Traffic Control Tower Cab Modernization at Ann Arbor Municipal Airport, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The work consists of, but is not limited to: removal of existing carpeting and installation of new carpeting and grounding system; installation of new cab consoles; installation of bookcases, file cabinets, refrigerator, sink, lighting fixtures, and writing surfaces with hardware; repainting of all interior painted surfaces; and other miscellaneous work. The existing facility contains hazardous material. Asbestos is known to be located in the tower cab, and asbestos abatement is required by the contractor through approved methods. The estimated issue date of the solicitation will be on or about February 22, 1995. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $75,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1799.
