Turner, Jr. Project involves reconstructing the existing parking area at the site with added visitor amenities. The project consists of earthwork, treated timber retaining wall, crushed aggregate base, a bituminous paved parking lot, concrete curb and gutter, constructing concrete sidewalks and observation areas, pipe railing, veneer rock walls, benches, landscaping, signs and other miscellaneous construction. Contract time is 90 calendar days. The project is located on the Pagosa Ranger District, San Juan National Forest, Mineral County, Colorado, approximately 14 miles northeast of Pagosa Springs. Cost estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. Anticipated issue date for solicitation package is February 6, 1995. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (017)
