The contract is for broad range of maintenance repair and minor construction work on real property at Fort Benning, Georgia. The work is required in support of Directorate of Public Works (DPW) activities at Fort Benning, Georgia. The contract will be an indefinite quantity type contract and will list a wide variety of individual construction tasks (about 25,000). After award and during the contract period, the individual construction tasks required to complete each specific job will be certified and the DPW will then issue individual delivery orders to the contractor. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish the jobs. The contractor is also required to maintain a Management Office on the Engineering management services related to accomplishing the individual jobs. Individual jobs will vary in size with the majority expected to be small to medium size. The job will include tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, interior electrical, steamfitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete, masonry, and welding. The duration of the contract will initially be 12 months, with options for two 12 month extensions. The minimum contract amount for the initial 12 month contract period and each exercised option is $200,000 and the maximum amount for that same period is $6,000,000. Solicitation documents cost $70.
