70 -- LEASE AND HARDWARE/SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE FOR XEROX DOCUTECH NP135 SOL 9BI214505P POC KARON COX, Tel:713-483-4159 Contracting Officer:RON JOHNSON, Tel:713-483-4164 The NASA Johnson Space Center intends to place a contract with Xerox Corporation. This contract will be a 12-month lease period with 2 one-year options Lease will include software and hardware maintenance for Xerox DocuTech NP135. This contract is one which the Government intends to solicit only one responsible source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This proposed action is supported by a Justification For Other Than Full and Open Competition under the authority of 10. U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Interested parties may, however, identify in writing to the Contracting Officer their interest and ability to meet the Government's requirements. All responses submitted within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action is within the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.
