The purpose of the announcement is to survey industry for production ready units and to develop a list of sources for a commercial-off-the-shelf production contract. A survey is available through the Contract Specialist to address the capabilities of these units. Contractors who have a production rady unit are requested to respond and provide copies of any test reports which would substantiate any performance claims. Information pertaining to production capabilities, maintenance support, product maturity, and product cost are also requested. ea.
