The Government intends to award a sole-source Research & Development (R&D) contract to Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute (IITRI) for continuing research and experimentation in the precision gear manufacturing process. This effort is a follow-on to the current contract. To encourage industry participation and technology transfer, proposals will be considered only from educational institutions and not-for-profit organizations.
