SBP Partial Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
 

Description

The US Army Corp of Engineers - Rock Island District (MVR) intends to issue a solicitation for a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement for Paint and related materials. The estimated value is $900,000 over a five-year period. The solicitation and its attachments will be posted to PIEE Solicitation module and a linked announcement will be posted to SAM.gov when the solicitation is issued. Based on the results of the market research conducted, MVR is planning to set-aside the Blasting Media portion of this requirement for Small Business under a separate applicable NAICS code, 327910, which has a size standard of 900 employees or fewer. The paint formulas required under this BPA must be CERL certified. Details of this are in the attached draft Master Statement of Work. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES OR PROPOSALS AND IS MERELY A PRESOLICITATION notice to generate interest in the solicitation when it is issued. Any quotes or proposals received in response to THIS notice will not be considered for award and no compensation for having done so will be granted.
