Description

This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - 12FPC126Q0003 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The National Soil Survey Center - Kellogg Soil Survey Laboratory (KSSL) Branch requires an air compressor providing 300 pounds per square inch (psi) at 5 - 10 cubic feet per minute (cfm) to supply a recently installed high-capacity manifold system at the new KSSL facility. The manifold system is used for soil water retention and bulk density measurements. The acquisition procedures at FAR Part 12 � Commercial Item Acquisition (FAR Overhaul) is being utilized. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price (FFP) award based on the lowest price, technically acceptable quote (LPTA) that conforms to the solicitation requirements and being set aside for Small Business. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333912 � Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing. Additional information can be found within the attached solicitation document.
