- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Commercial Construction Contract for installation of Security Fences at Tionesta Dam, Tionesta, Forest County, Pennsylvania. The scope of work includes removing and replacing existing security fencing at two locations, as well as installing new fencing at one additional location within Tionesta Dam property. At the Control Tower Bridge, the new security fence will be 12 feet high and will include a barbed-wire apron mounted on extension arms, along with gates matching the height and configuration of the fence. New fencing at the Control Tower Tunnel and the Visitor Information Center (VIC) � Fuel Tank Area will consist of 8-foot-high security fencing. In general, the work includes demolition, disposal, and installation of complete security fencing systems in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and site conditions. The NAICS Code is 238990 � All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, and the Small Business Size Standard is $19,000,000.00. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7020, all contractors are required to have a current (i.e., not more than three years old) NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment on record in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) to be considered for award. You are required to conduct, at a minimum, a Basic Assessment of your compliance with the 110 security controls outlined in NIST SP 800-171 and submit your summary level score to SPRS located in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). We encourage your company to complete the NIST SP 800-171 Assessment via SPRS prior to the Request for Quote (RFQ) due date to be considered for an award. Any resultant award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order. All responsible quoters are encouraged to submit a quote. The Request for Quote will be issued on, or about, 16 March 2026, via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov.
