THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation that satisfies the requirements of Overhaul Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.1 Presolicitation. A Request For Quotation (RFQ) solicitation will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website at www.sam.gov on or around 17 March 2026. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 800 employees. The solicitation will be issued as an RFQ under FAR Part 12. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide six (6) high-low exam chairs/tables that are needed in the Urology Clinic for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System s Little Rock/North Little Rock, AR location. The existing chairs are nearing the end of their life cycle and need to be replaced. The Point of Contact for this notice is Carmyn E. Williams, Contract Specialist, at Carmyn.williams@va.gov. Interested parties should express their interest by sending an email to the point of contact listed above. Questions regarding the upcoming solicitation are to be submitted in writing via email. Closing Comments: This pre-solicitation notice does not constitute a request for quotes (RFQ) and is not a guarantee that an RFQ will follow. It is for informational purposes only and to allow potential offerors to express interest and to prepare to respond to the formal solicitation when it is released.
