- Description
- The purpose of this procurement is to acquire control system upgrades and replacement work on land portal cranes, LC47 and LC48 at Berth 12. The upgrades and replacement work includes but is not limited to upgrading the cranes control systems. Upgrades and replacements include: � Procure and install replacement items and materials for various electrical equipment, inverters, programmable logic controllers (PLC) to include wiring connections to the replaced items, and computer software. Contractor shall be responsible for all applicable components and sub-components to maintain accordance with the late manufacturer�s standard � Inspection for all applicable components and sub-components for conditions, cleanliness, damage, defects, deterioration, corrosion, proper operating record to load/unload for applicable capacities, electrical connections, and the locations/positions correction as required, and verify the equipment location is free of debris and/or flammable material, during and/or end of the work scheduled daily and the completion of the work. Validation is required for the designated crane conditions and applicable capacities upon the receipt of task orders. Note: The Contractor shall record all operated works specifications and results, and submit it per SOW. Upon completion of above on-site works, put systems back to normal operation and check to ensure that equipment and systems are operating properly. Validate the operation/work entire area for the task order, and ensure all applicable power on/off device, on/off method, and positioned correctly before and after performing the work is the high priority for the Contractor protection in performance safety, and the site personnel/property safety.
