- This is a sources-sought announcement for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The intent of this notice is to conduct market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is for informational purposes only and to support planning for the requirements listed below. The U.S. Government (USG) will not pay for any information or reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this RFI. No solicitation is being issued currently. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This synopsis details the intent of the USG to release a solicitation to provide Technical Assistance (TA) and Field Service Representative (FSR) support for the PAC-3 Defense System and Ground Support Equipment. The contractor will provide technical services necessary to execute the USG and International Partners� requirements for PAC-3 Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI) and PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) Missiles and Launcher equipment. The performance period for this effort will commence not later than 1 December 2027. The Government does not possess or have an available Technical Data Package for the maintenance of any of the equipment; for example, PAC-3 missile variants or PAC-3 Launcher Station (LS), test sets or tooling to be maintained under any potential contract. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. The contractor FSR(s) shall provide system integration support (i.e., installation/checkout of the PAC-3 system hardware and software into the units being fielded). Additionally, the FSR(s) shall be onsite with the fielded units and shall be available as subject matter expert(s) regarding operational questions and the maintenance of both the hardware and software, including software verification. The FSR(s) shall be on call to support the user within 24-48 hours after receiving request for assistance from the user, to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software difficulties encountered by the users. The FSR(s) may be required to travel to the equipment at the specified locations, or the equipment may be delivered to the contractor. The contractor shall perform maintenance, repair or supply action required affecting a repair to the fielded hardware. The contractor shall provide required reinforcement training and new equipment training. Interested firms who believe they can provide the above-mentioned services are invited to indicate their interest by submitting: 1. Company name, company address, overnight delivery address (if different from mailing address, Cage Code, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number). 2. Business size (i.e. large, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc.) 3. Affirmation of cleared personnel and facilities. 4. A description of the company�s expertise in providing Technical Assistance and Field Support Representative support for the PAC-3 Cost RI and MSE Missile and Ground Support Equipment. 5. A description of your company�s technical expertise, capabilities, and assets necessary to provide technical support for the PAC-3 Defense System and associated Ground Support Equipment. 6. A description, in general, of your company�s approach to meeting the required period of performance. All responses shall be unclassified. General: The experience/expertise description should be no longer than 5 pages.
