Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office Central, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, Network Contracting Office 12, located at 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476 intends to award a sole source, single award commodities contract for Avigilon Camera/Video Management System Upgrade and License Renewals for Police Services from scDataCom LLC., located at 2700 Gregory Street Suite 180, Savannah Georgia 31404. Notice of Intent for Sole Source Award referencing FAR 6.302-1. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring Supplies and Services to upgrade the Security Cameras and Installation for the Illiana VA Health Care System located in Danville, Illinois: The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a purchase order to scDataCom LLC2700 Gregory St Ste 180 Savannah, GA 31404, as the only responsible source to provide Avigilon Camera Upgrade. scDataCom currently has a maintenance contract with Illiana to provide repairs and upkeep of the current video management system. This upgrade will need to be integrated with the current video management system and will ensure continuity. If there were any maintenance work done with the installation of this new equipment, VA would be responsible for paying another company to fix. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 334290 and the size standard is 750 employees. Interested people may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations or a solicitation of offers. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available currently. Interested parties may give written notice to Erica.Grimslid@va.gov by 17:00pm CST on 03/04/2026. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
