Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award on a Limiting Competition sole source basis, a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Tenet Hospitals LTD, for mechanical and ultrasonic washing of medical surgical instruments and equipment services to the Sterile Processing Department, William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, Texas. Mechanical and ultrasonic decontamination are automated cleaning processes for surgical instruments that remove bioburden, essential for effective sterilization. The NAICS code is 811210 with a size standard of $34,000,000.00. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. Note: Interested vendors, please respond to this notice on or before 26 Feb 2026. An award will be made on or around 01 March 2026.
