Description

This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). PROJECT TITLE: Design-Build (D/B) Perform Emergency Repairs at Lake Nona Parking Garages PROJECT NUMBER: 675-26-805 PROJECT SUMMARY: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (OVAHCS), is seeking professional design-build services to develop and furnish the design and construction for the repair of the existing east and west parking garages on the Lake Nona campus. Based on the recent structural assessments performed in August 2025 for the two (2) parking garages, it has been concluded that numerous items need repair which will address the critical structural supporting elements and life safety concerns. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and design-build services necessary for the design and construction of the project described herein and other specific tasks as further defined by the Statement of Work (SOW). All quotes are to provide both design and construction services for this project. The contractor shall not match existing materials but shall use hospital grade as designated in the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Technical Information Library (TIL) and/or industry standards for healthcare facilities relevant to space usage. Reference Section VII. Resources, below. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 448 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (OVAHCS), located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $5,000,000 and $6,000,000.
