Description

ATTENTION**** ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO ATTN: CCAM-MLP Tamela Riggs, Contracting Specialist via email, tamela.d.riggs.civ@army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. This notice is issued to inform prospective vendors of an upcoming requirement for the procurement of Cable Assembly, Special. This is restricted to Lockheed Martin Corporation (64059) because this part must be acquired for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity�s procedures Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part nor use of a second source part in the intended application. The required delivery is 5 each 172 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov to receive the formal Request for Proposal (RFP). In order to obtain access to the TDP, venders must have an active certification in Joint Certification Program (JCP), https://www.public.dacs.dla.mil/jcp/ext/#ext/dashboard. One contract will be awarded as a result of this requirement. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 04, 2026.
