Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full-and-open competition to award a delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) (see posting N00024-23-G-5305) to BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. (BAE) located in Maple Grove, MN. This Order includes the procurement of: 2J Spares Overhaul/Upgrade and New Manufacture in support of the MK45 Mod 4 Gun Mount. This BOA order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. BAE is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and ability to satisfy the Government�s MK45 requirements within the required schedule. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the prime contractor (BAE) directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement no later than the closing time of this notice. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government � the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to solicit from more than one source is solely within the discretion of the Government.
