Description
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX is issuing a Sources Sought for Cardiogen-82 Generators including a HeartSee software license. This requirement is expected to result in the award of a single firm-fixed price contract. The anticipated period of performance is one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. Cardiogen-82 generators are radioactive generators that, when saline runs through the column, Rb-82 is pulled off and given to the patient while they are in the scanner. The delivery system is fitted to the generator system and is unique to this system alone. Every 40 days a new generator will be swapped in the infusion system which also provides a radiation safety component. The infusion system checks for Strontium break through which can be harmful for the patient. The system checks every dose that it administrates to the patients. It also does weight-based dosing. It will deliver a dose based on the patient's - weight larger patients get a bigger dose to help improve image quality, while smaller patients will get a smaller dose reducing their radiation exposure. HeartSee is FDA approved software used in cardiac positron emission tomography (PET) for determining regional and global absolute rest and stress myocardial perfusion in cc/min/g, Coronary Flow Reserve, and their combination into the Coronary Flow- Capacity (CFC) Map for facilitating the interpretation of PET perfusion images in patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease. MRCO-W is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as part of market research to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. MRCO-W will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. CONTRACTOR RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE: Company name, DUNS, CAGE, contact information, and the size of your business under NAICS code 325412 per the standard described in FAR Part 19.102. Please advise if the requirement can be met through a contract vehicle the source already has (i.e GSA schedule number if applicable).
