THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. ALL INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY This is a request for information (RFI)/sources sought notice (SSN), issued in accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(e), to conduct market research. This RFI/SSN is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute either a request for quotation (RFQ); nor is it a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This RFI/SSN does not commit the Government to solicit or contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The NPS is not seeking quotes at this time and will not accept any unsolicited quotes. IAW FAR 52.215-3 The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI/SSN or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Any response to this notice shall be used for information only and does not constitute a quote or promise to acquire the products/services described herein. The Government shall not pay for costs incurred while responding to this RFI/SSN. Vendors who do not respond to this RFI/SSN may still participate in any future RFQ. Information submitted in response to this RFI/SSN is strictly voluntary and becomes Government property. In addition, information received in response to this RFI/SSN will be utilized solely for market research and shall only be considered within 12 months of receipt. This RFI/SSN is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this posting or any follow-up information requests. This notice is a market research tool to help the NPS develop and decide on the most advantageous acquisition strategy. The National Park Service (NPS), Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (NR MABO) is seeking capable contractors to replace one and repair the HQ Building Chillers for Grand Teton National Park (GRTE). Potential Project � Known Information: The purpose of this project is to replace a failed compressor in the chiller as well as provide maintenance to the other five compressors/ refrigerant systems. The compressors are Copeland Scroll Mod: ZP385KCE-TWC-250, 200-230v 3ph Each compressor (6) and refrigerant loop will be evacuated, pressurized with nitrogen and leak tested. All Schrader valves need to have the Schrader stem replaced. Repair any detected leaks in the refrigerant system. Each compressor/ refrigerant loop will need to have a vacuum pulled and recharged to factory pressure with 480 oz of R-410A refrigerant. Each compressor will need to be checked for proper operation, pressure, superheat and sub cool. Verify all compressors operate to manufacturers recommendations. Replace and install one failed compressor and filter dryer with new compressor and dryer of the same size and style. The chiller setup is comprised of 3 modules each with 2 compressors, 2 refrigerant loops, heat exchangers with the water loops. Each heat exchanger shall be back flushed as well as flushing out the main line basket strainer and any additional heat exchanger cleaning recommended by the manufacturer. Required service times 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Respond to this notice and provide, if interested and capable, the following information: Project Related Questions: 1.
