- Description
- The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required for the demolition of one roll up door and upgrade manual chain mechanism to electric motor ran openers for the Hobby shop building on USCG Base Portsmouth, 4000 Coast Guard Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23703 per the attached Statement of Work. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to verify any/all quantities and sizes before submitting bids. Interested parties shall make arrangements for a site visit with Nathan Chappell (804-384-8066) Nathan.C.Chappell@uscg.mil. All site visits are to be prearranged a minimum of (3) days in advance. To arrange a site visit, the following information is to be provided Full name, date of birth, and last 4 of SSN. Each contractor that does not have Real ID on their Driver licenses will need to present one of the following credentials: U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, retirees and dependents. RAPIDGate Credential HSPD-12 PIV card State-issued Enhanced Driver's License U.S. passport U.S. passport card DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST) Permanent resident card Border crossing card Federally recognized Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe, including Enhanced Tribal Cards (ETCs) Foreign government-issued passport Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card Transportation worker identification credential. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766) U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC) HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) prior to close of this solicitation. https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The vendors SAM registration must be in an �ACTIVE� status prior to award. Vendors must ensure that the above listed NAICS codes are listed on their SAM registration to perform this type of service. COST PROPOSALS: The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15 provide Firm Fixed-Price �broken out by labor hours, labor category, materials, and other direct costs�. Proposals must be received by email no later than the specified date and time listed in block 10 of the SF-18 solicitation document to Cristina.p.mesen@uscg.mil EVALUATION CRITERIA: The government will award a contract resulting from this request for quote (RFQ) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ is the Lowest price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. The lowest priced quote will be evaluated on technical acceptability, if it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made. If it is found to be unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified.
