Description
This is amendment 2 to this sources sought notice. This amendment is to close Requestion for Information solicitation in due to changing mission timeline/deadline. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This is not a synopsis preceding the issuance of a solicitation. Rather, it is market research issued solely for information purposes- it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or any other solicitation. This RFI does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) is not at this time seeking proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties' expense. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this RFI is voluntary. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. It is recommended that interested parties monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) and FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net/) for any information that may pertain to this RFI. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The purpose of this contract is to enhance protection of children�s health. Children�s health is highlighted in Executive Order (EO) 14212 which states �the health of Americans is on an alarming trajectory that requires immediate action� and that �[t]his concern applies urgently to America's children.� This contract also supports the EO priority of �drastically lowering [children�s] chronic disease rates,� as well as fulfilling Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American. This also meets priorities of the national Children�s Environmental Health (CEH) Program by: 1) optimizing outreach for awareness and use of recently developed training and educational resources on environmental health issues that affect children relevant to a variety of audiences; 2) providing training and materials to build capacity of health care professionals to recognize and address key pediatric environmental exposures; and 3) enhancing accessibility to online environmental health education modules. The contractor shall complete the CEH projects identified herein. All work will be done in accordance with the scope of work included in this RFI package. Please reference ""Attachment 1 - RFI 68HE0925Q0010"" and ""Attachment 2 - Statement of Work.""
