- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/ REQUEST FOR INFORMATION; not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), the purpose of this notice is to: (1) determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exists, (2) determine if commercial items suitable to meet the agency's needs are available or could be modified to meet the agency's requirements, and (3) determine the commercial practices of company's engaged in providing the needed service or supply. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. The USCG is seeking interested venrdors capable fo fulfilling the following: obtain access to OEM International Common Spare Parts Pool (ICSP) and OEM repair services for the AN/SPS-75's Radar System from Hensoldt. This specification describes the requirements to provide replacement spares, repair, return services shipping, preservation, packing. REQUIREMENTS: USCG will have access to the ICSP spare parts pool eight (8) times per year. If additional access is required for spare parts, admin and shipping fees will be incurred. The contractor shall provide pool participations for the TRS-3D version baseline B, C, and D all parts will be in new or A condition. If the part requested by the USCG is available in the spare pool, the part will be shipped to the respective address. The USCG will return the failed part to Hensoldt Inc, within twenty (20) business days following the Cutters return to CONUS. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing tracking information for shipments and delivery dates. The Contractor shall provide a repair analysis and firm fixed repair quote, the Contractor shall not start any repair work until the Government issues authorization from the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer�s Representative. The part shall be repaired or replaced if un-reparable at the governments expense, CLIN (2) on the proposal is funding for repair or replacement of parts. Any work performed before authorization is received shall be at the Contractors risk. Written authorization may be in the form of electronic mail. The CLIN for repair shall not exceed without prior approval from the Contracting Officer. Questions for Interested Companies: Can your company supply the Hensoldt Sensors parts? If yes, then please explain how and provide a certified agreement letter signed between the two (2) companies. Can you confirm your ability to source directly from Hensoldt Sensors or through their authorized supply chain? What experience does your company have in supplying Hensoldt brand name parts for defense, security, or government contracts? Please provide examples of similar contracts or past performance, if available.
